Richard A. Major

 Rich Major left us to go home to God on September 17, 2021. Loving husband to Debbie (Omernik) Major for 37 years.  Father of Amanda (Mark) Tercha, Shannon McKenna, Carrie McKenna, and Krystal Major.  Grandpa to Alexandria, Jordan, Hali, Brooke, Heaven, Ashley, Phil, Conner, and Owen. Son of Myra Tomczak and Austin Major. Survived by family Jeff (Dawn) Major, Connie Anderson, Pete Vukobrat, Paul Vukobrat, Neal Vukobrat, George Vukobrat Jr., Mike Vukobrat, Kathy (Duane) Seelow, and Theresa (Dennis Ostermen). Loving Brother-In-Law to Tami Wey, Michael Wey, and Kathy Omernik.  "Uncle Buddy" to Doug (Connie) Omernik, Neal (Wendy) Omernik, Mikey Wey, Casey (Allision) Wey, Kyle (Taylor) Wey and Megan Wey. Family meant so much to him. He loved to spend as much time with them as he could. This included weekends at the trailer in Adams County, listening to music and drinking a beer. And if he was lucky, he made it home on time Sunday for the Miami Dolphin game. He fought a long, hard battle at St. Luke's Hospital for 2 years and 4 months.  His family wishes to thank all the nurses and caregivers on the 9th floor Section T, Dr. Player, Dr. Brummet and the heart team.  They truly were his family away from home.
