Kenneth R. Zold

Passed away on Good Friday, 2021 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Kenneth Robert Zold ("Ken") was born in 1960 to Irmgard (Bickel) Zold and Robert Kenneth Zold in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During his childhood he and his family returned to southeastern Wisconsin and Ken resided there for the rest of his life. Ken attended Racine Unified School District and played football at William Horlick High School.
Ken's working life involved many assembly/factory and trucking/delivery positions, and in the late 1990s he started his own trucking/delivery/logistics solutions business.
Ken was extremely outgoing, intelligent, funny and a people person with a larger-than-life personality. He especially enjoyed spending time at his father's lakefront family resort in Crandon, WI. And during childhood he had the very special opportunity to visit Heidelberg, Germany twice to meet his mother's parents and extended relatives.
Ken is survived by his father Robert Zold, brother Kevin Pirelli, sons Andrew Zold and Jason Zold, granddaughters Aleigha Zold and Lily Zold, Uncle James Zold, and numerous cousins and extended relatives in the U.S.
Ken is further survived by very special 1st cousins Gerhard Ruhnau and Gisela (Ruhnau) Cirillo of Heidelberg, Germany.
Ken was preceded in death by his mother Irmgard (Bickel) Heling, American grandparents Joseph and Pearl Zold and Uncle Joseph Zold, Jr., German grandparents Vitus and Maria Bickel and very special Aunt Marga (Bickel) Ruhnau of Heidelberg Germany, and many extended relatives in the U.S. and Europe.
Private interment will take place at St Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha, WI.
