Kappy H. (Taylor) Spoon

Kappy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Wiley Bryant Taylor and Kathleen (Brower) Taylor on the last day of September 1959. Kappy is preceded in death by her parents Wiley B. Taylor Sr. and Kathleen (Brower) Thomas, her Brother Wiley B. Taylor Jr., and her sister Lisa Taylor. She is survived by her siblings Cheryl Sheppard, Nadine Rigsby, and Timothy Taylor; her children David Spoon and Lyndsay Maddox; and her Grandchildren Nathaniel Maddox, Scott Lusha, and Lillian Lusha. Kappy had a luminescent spirit that shown brightly to everyone she met. Kappy was the first one to offer assistance to anyone she crossed paths with and always tried to find the good in everyone. Kappy rarely met a stranger as she would speak openly and warmly with anyone she had the occasion to meet. Kappy didn’t take a partner in this life but instead spent her life giving selflessly of her time and resources to those around her. Kappy loved caring for others and spent a majority of her adult life taking care of the disabled and elderly. Kappy’s unrelenting determination to enrich the lives of those around her will live on in our hearts. Kappy’s bright smile and warm hugs will be missed. We love you Mom.
