Jacquelyn Waldo Obituary

On November 17th, 2023, Jacie Ann Waldo of South Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 41 years, Perry Waldo, held her hand until her final passing.
Jacie, the eldest of three children, was born December 27, 1951 to Melvin and Dixie Brunscheen in Anamosa, IA. In the spring of 1982, Jacie met her soulmate, Perry Waldo. Jacie and Perry each had two children when they met. They were married the following year on December 9, beginning their legacy of unconditional love, appreciation, unwavering aspirations and bringing both families together. Their family grew in the 90’s when they opened their home and hearts to Marcia (Block) and her sister, Angie, who were embraced with warmth and love into the family. For Jacie, family was her purpose.
Jacie is survived by her beloved husband, Perry Waldo. Her children: Heath Waldo, Amy Weber (Marty), Shawn Waldo, Ceri Trongard (Kenneth Aukland), Marcia Block, and Angie Hart. Grandchildren: Casey, Jasmine, Mickey, Jacob, Krischan, Marissa, Nathan, 6 additional grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her siblings: Jann Robinson (Bob) and Cody Roberts (Kathy).
Preceding her in death are her mother, Dixie, and father, Mel. Jacie and Perry enjoyed many years and thousands of miles together, traveling across the United States on their motorcycles and camping with family and friends. Their home was the gathering place for many, a place of laughter and warmth with a revolving
door for family and friends and a respite for those in need.
Jacie was a talented woman, capable of anything. She was an artist at heart and a serious force of nature who viewed obstacles as steppingstones and conquered hurdles through creativity. She worked in every medium, was self-taught, and full of inspiration. We are thankful for the many memories and mementos, and we will keep her memory alive throughout the generations to come. Jacie will be greatly missed. She loved and is loved by many.
