Eugene M. Kapitanski

Eugene M. Kapitanski of Milwaukee, WI was born to eternal life on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 76. He was born on August 17th, 1945 and was the son of Vincent and Jeanette Kapitanski. He is survived by Susan, his loving and devoted wife of 47 years. Eugene was also the beloved father of Jeanette (Don) Neumann, Tammi (Jason) Kapitanski - Balden. Cherished Papa to grandchildren Samantha (Tim) and Zachary (Sierra), two great grandchildren Kairi Mae and Roxas Eugene who loved him so.

Preceded in death by brother Gerald (Carol). Survived by his brother Ronald (Kathleen) and Lawrence (Debra). He will be missed greatly by his fishing buddy Jim Wojo and life long friend Mike LaPointe, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Eugene was a life-long outdoors man who loved to play cribbage and make people laugh. After working as a journeyman sheet metal worker for over 43 years at Illingworth Co., Eugene retired to Wautoma, Wisconsin where he enjoyed 15 years in their beautiful home. This was his dream, to spend his retirement enjoying some hunting, fishing, watching the birds, turkey’s and deer run through their yard. He loved sitting on the porch drinking a cuppa coffee with Sue and just taking it all in. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, where he oversaw various aspects of their quarterly pancake breakfast at St. Joseph’s Parish for many years and held several offices.

He will be missed deeply by everyone who loves him. Rest easy Gene-O.
