Crucita (Lazu) Lazu Marrero

Crucita passed away peacefully on August 3rd, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born and raised in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Crucita loved to be around her family and enjoyed dancing and singing.

She will always be remembered as a loving Mother to William, Brenda (Ipolito), Juan (Yelixa), Yarissa. As a caring Grandmother to Rosemarie, Noel, Melissa, Thalia, Ashlie, Nashaley, Juan, Yarianies, Alexis, Catalina, and Julian. A proud great grandma to 9 great-grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her 6 remaining siblings.

We miss her so much which means she was an extremely special person, and we were blessed to have her in our lives. She is in our hearts forever and will always be missed. We know she’s happy now and isn’t in pain. It hurts to be apart, but we will see her dancing again. We are comforted to know she is in heaven, smiling down on all of us. 

Crucita falleció en paz el 3 de agosto de 2022 a la edad de 79 años. Nació y creció en Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. A Crucita le encantaba estar con su familia y disfrutaba bailar y cantar.

Siempre será recordada como una madre amorosa para William, Brenda (Ipolito), Juan (Yelixa), Yarissa. Como una abuela cariñosa para Rosemarie, Noel, Melissa, Thalia, Ashlie, Nashaley, Juan, Yarianies, Alexis, Catalina y Julian. . Una bisabuela orgullosa de 9 bisnietos. Ella también será profundamente extrañada por sus 6 hermanos restantes.

La extrañamos mucho significa que era una persona extremadamente especial y fuimos bendecidos de tenerla en nuestras vidas. Ella está en nuestros corazones para siempre y siempre la extrañaremos. Sabemos que ahora está feliz y no tiene dolor. Duele estar separados, pero la volveremos a ver bailando. Nos consuela saber que ella está en el cielo, sonriéndonos a todos.
