Jane A, (Barnes) Kollaszar

Jane Audrey Kollaszar, age 81, passed away on November 20th surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Jim Kollaszar, sister, Janice Beck, brother, Gerald Jaeger and great grandson “Little Donne” Briggs.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Rene) Weber, Willie (Julia) Kollaszar, Stephanie (Karl) Naujock and Susan (David) Torum.  She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Angela (Chris) Brandt, Jon Torum, Mitchell Naujock, Kit Naujock, Gabriella Kapel, Jessica  Kollaszar, Nathan (Mark) Kollaszar, Trent Weber  and Donne Briggs.  She is further survived by her great grandchildren,  Devon Briggs, Carsyn Briggs, Caleb Weber, Landon Weber, Gavin Weber, Hudson Brandt, Cora Brandt, Jameson Kollaszar, and her great great granddaughter Elizabeth Briggs.  She will also be fondly remembered by her Godson, Matt Russell.

Jane was an avid bird watcher and loved fishing.  She cherished “living the life” in Alaska for many years and she is the only person known to have headbutted a moose and survived; the moose unfortunately didn't!

A private graveside service will be held at a later date, when she will be reunited with her husband in Oxford, WI.
